A look at the
forest and its people
From the echo of memory
to real protagonism
Our story began in a moment of pain, but our mission extends into life. Honoring Dom Phillips means understanding that the Amazon is not just a scene of violence, but a territory of living and ancient knowledge. The Dom Phillips Institute exists to be an ally of young Indigenous people in the Amazon, collaborating in the expansion of their activities, their cultures, and their knowledge.
Sowing
leadership
Our tool is education, and the youth dictate the pace and content. We believe in a collective construction where young people choose the types of knowledge necessary to expand their skills and transform their realities.
It is a dynamic exchange of knowledge, stemming from the urgent needs and demands of those who defend territories and cultures and seek to strengthen networking to guarantee their rights.
Here, traditional and technical knowledge go hand in hand, guided by those who have always known how to care for the forest and life in all its forms.
Facilitators
connections
We are a group of professionals and friends driven by a commitment to the territory, building upon Dom's legacy. We work to support and organize initiatives, ensuring that the voice and leadership belong to the forest peoples.
